This eight-hour, instructor-led, online training course held via Zoom complements and supplements TAC’s Canadian Roundabout Design Guide (CRDG, 2017), and covers the entire CRDG with an emphasis on Chapter 6—Geometric Design. It is intended for transportation practitioners and managers in the private and public sectors who are interested in roundabout planning and design. Course participants will improve their understanding of how to use the CRDG; roundabout capacity analysis and safety performance; and roundabout geometric and detailed design.

The course instructor will be Phil Weber, P.Eng., P.E. – Senior Project Manager & Associate Partner, CIMA Canada Inc. Phil has a Master’s degree in transportation engineering and over 25 years of experience in the public and private sectors. He is a national authority on roundabout planning and design, having been involved in over 200 roundabout projects throughout Canada and the U.S. with well over 100 constructed to date.
